Legends Team Cup - ATP Champions Tour

The Istrian peninsula is a location with something to offer visitors throughout the year, and in the summer it serves as the setting for a number of activities that both delight and educate, leaving a lasting impression.

This year, there is an additional reason to visit and take in the festivities because Pula is putting on a fantastic show from August 1 through August 3. The biggest tennis stars will play in the Legends Team Cup - ATP Champions Tour at the Arena, demonstrating once more what a magnificent venue this old amphitheatre is for performances.

Since the first century AD, important occasions have taken place in the Arena, including gladiator fights, animal hunting, and, more recently, remarkable film festivals and fantastic performances. The hockey players performed on a field that was "hot," while the Croatian national football team, Vatreni, played in the Arena against FC Bayern Munich's juggernauts with exactly the proper amount of support from the crowd.

The tennis world's elite will finally be able to greet the residents of Pula and its visitors.

Ivan Lendl and Pat Cash, two of the biggest Grand Slam champions and captains of two teams with players like Tommy Haas and Tomas Berdych, will face off in the historic arena.

Two singles matches and one doubles match will be played on each day of the competition, and the team with the most points at the conclusion of the three days will win the Pula event. The Arena, the most beautiful Istrian stage, will welcome tennis legends with the most spectacular scenography, says the Istria Tourist Board with the cooperation of the Croatian Tourist Board.
